Trousers are made of selected wool from the first shearing of young Australian Merinos, thanks to which the material is extremely soft and pleasant to the touch, and additionally breathable and "not biting". It provides comfort for your baby.
Why is the type of material so important? Your baby is particularly vulnerable to heat loss from the body. The ratio of its body surface area to weight is much greater than in older children and adults, which means that sweating, the function of which is to cool the body, if excessive, can be dangerous for the baby. The highest quality wool from which we create clothes at Martello, is a natural material that warms the body without causing the effect of excessive sweating, which unfortunately occurs when artificial material, e.g. polyester or acrylic, comes into contact with the skin.
The sweater, trousers and a hat made of young Merino wool are primarily SAFETY for your child. Head protection is of great importance, because it is through the scalp that your baby loses the most heat. Make sure to protect the head at all times of the year with a cover made of natural material, of the highest quality.
Care instructions:
- Wash at temperatures up to 60 ° C
- Do not whiten, do not chlorinate
- Dry in a low speed tumble dryer
- Iron up to 200 °C
- Do not dry clean
